The team at Design for Recovery helped me recover from my pill addiction. I could get away for maybe a day from opiate pain meds but that whole day all I thought about was getting high. I always gave in eventually left to my own. I had a mindset change faster than I expected at Bridges. Suddenly getting high seemed boring and secondary to what I glimpsed of the lives of the staff and other peoples at Los Angeles AA meetings. The support at Bridges and friendships made all the difference. I am coming up on two years sober now and excited about life and what’s next. I didn’t even know who I was or what my passions were while using. Today I’ve discovered so much I’m interested in and currently I am literally pursuing my dreams.

I am truly grateful for the care and attention I received at Bridges. The therapists were knowledgeable and compassionate. I wanted something like a Malibu beachside sober living like on the movies but it wasn’t at all affordable. I found Bridges luckily which was the next best thing, such a nice apartment building and the location is great. The Women I met there are incredible and some I plan to stay friends with hopefully forever. Looking forward to visiting new women at the house, for the beach on Sundays, and giving back.
