Finding Serenity in the Hills: Women’s Sober Living in Culver City

Tucked away in the quiet, scenic border of Culver City and Beverly Glen, our women’s sober living home offers a unique and welcoming environment for healing, growth, and connection. Surrounded by lovely homes, greenery, and peaceful residential vibes, this house is more than just a place to stay—it's a sanctuary built on understanding and community.

We believe in the power of structured recovery, and for many women that begins with 12-step programs like AA. Our residents are encouraged to attend weekly meetings to stay grounded and connected—but we also know that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we support those who want to pursue other paths. If yoga, meditation, or another holistic recovery framework is more aligned with your needs, we make it possible to supplement weekly recovery activities with those and/or other options. The goal is forward momentum, and we trust women to know what resonates with their minds and bodies.

Food is another cornerstone of our culture here. Most days you’ll find fresh, clean meals prepared and provided—nourishing the body as much as the mind. But let’s be real: sometimes, hormones kick in and we end up making way too much pasta, laughing over garlic bread and demolishing cartons of ice cream. It’s part of the balance—joyful indulgence without shame.

Our weekly rhythms include Thursday movie nights, where everyone piles into the living room with blankets and snacks, and Sunday beach days—a ritual that helps us reconnect with nature and ourselves. Whether it's journaling by the water and catching a fresh tan coat or body surfing with your sober sisters, the beach is our place to unwind and reset for the week ahead.

What really sets this house apart, though, is the bond between the women who come through its doors. You’ll find your circle here—your herd. These are the friends who will walk with you as you navigate early sobriety and slowly step back into daily life with confidence and support. There’s laughter, tears, spontaneous dance parties, real talk, and so much encouragement.

An opinion, and arguably a fact, is that life in recovery doesn’t have to feel rigid or isolating. At Design Women's sober living home, it feels like growth, connection, and becoming yourself again—one breath, one day, and one friendship at a time.
